Our Annual Golf Tournament is proudly our second-largest event of the year and a critical driver of our mission.

Since expanding nationally, Hook-A-Hero continues to grow both in reach and impact—now actively supporting close to 180 first responders, military heroes, and their families across the country through a trusted network of vetted service providers.

Over the past year alone, we have delivered nearly 400 mental health service sessions and more than 40 wellness-based activities, including retreats, outdoor experiences, and family-focused programming. Every service is rooted in confidentiality, trust, and accessibility—and provided at no cost to those we serve.

 

We remain committed to connecting our heroes with meaningful programs such as SOF Mission Retreat, Operation Restore in partnership with the Franciscan Center, Military Mobility and Readiness Group, and other specialized providers aligned to the unique needs of first responders and veterans.

Each year, we continue to welcome new heroes into our program, with the majority actively engaged in ongoing mental health services, wellness activities, and/or family retreats—made possible through the direct support of events like this.

As our reach expands, so does the need. As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, we rely on the strength of our community, partners, and sponsors to continue delivering life-changing support. We are honored to serve and deeply grateful for those who stand alongside us.

This event is held at the beautiful Westchase Golf Club and offers a day of connection, camaraderie, and purpose. In addition to our well-known raffles and auctions, participants will enjoy an exceptional experience—including a great spread provided by our generous sponsors.
