Hook-A-Hero continues to expand its impact in meaningful and measurable ways.


Over the past year, we have nearly doubled our reach since our last Clay Shoot—now actively supporting close to 180 first responders, military heroes, and their families nationwide.

In 2025 alone, we have delivered nearly 400 mental health service sessions and more than 40 wellness-based activities, with additional programs already underway. Every service we provide is rooted in confidentiality, trust, and accessibility—offered at no cost to the heroes and families we serve.

 

We are proud to invite you to our Annual Hook-A-Hero Clay Shoot Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the beautiful Tampa Bay Sporting Clays.

This signature event brings together business and community leaders for a day of connection, camaraderie, and purpose—while raising the critical funds that directly fuel the majority of our year-round services. All shooters will receive exclusive participant gifts, ammunition, cart rental, and lunch

 

The day will also feature Awards for the top three teams, our always-popular “Top Shot” shoot-off, silent auctions featuring exclusive sports memorabilia, live auctions, raffles, and more.  This is an experience you will not want to miss.

 

As our largest annual fundraiser, this event plays a vital role in sustaining our mission. Every $100 raised funds one hour of therapy, and we currently average two therapy sessions per day, in addition to retreats, wellness activities, and other direct support services made possible through your generosity.
