At Hook-A-Hero, we recognize that the weight of the job doesn’t end when the shift does. First responders often carry stress, trauma, exhaustion, and emotional fatigue long after the uniform comes off. Our Wellness Retreat was created to provide a calm, supportive environment focused on restoring the nervous system, building resilience, and offering practical tools that support long-term wellness — both on duty and at home.

This retreat is intentionally designed for active and retired first responders and their families to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves, others, and healthy coping strategies in a judgment-free environment.

Hosted at the beautiful Franciscan Center, the retreat includes guided grounding exercises, restorative yoga, stress-relief workshops, meditation, group connection activities, and opportunities for reflection and recovery.
